We went on our first trip yesterday and we had a wonderful time! We went on a double decker bus to get to Billesley Tennis Centre which felt like an adventure in itself!

We worked hard at lots of different activities and listened carefully to the play leaders.

Cricket!

We enjoyed our session with the cricket coach once again. This week, we played a short game of cricket, “England vs Australia”. We tried really hard to put all of the skills that we have learnt into this game. Well done everyone!

Den Building!

As part of the OPAL programme to make our lunchtimes more exciting, we have started to learn how to Den Build! We have been very respectful of the new equipment and have worked well together to build some lovely dens! We can’t wait to build more!

Cricket!

We are very lucky this term to have a cricket coach for our PE lessons. We improved our batting skills significantly in just one lesson. We learnt how to carry the bat whilst running, how to use the bat to reach the wickets and how to hit the ball as hard as we can. We are looking forward to playing a full game of cricket soon!

World Explorers!

We started our new topic off with a bang! We had a wonderful drama workshop where we pretended to be explorers travelling the globe. We travelled all 7 continents and 5 oceans and learnt exciting facts along the way!
